Can I choose my designer?
No. We match you with one of our designers. Tell us about the room and your style when you book.
Chat or call?
A chat for a few quick questions, with photos. A call to walk through the whole room on video.
Who is it for?
Anyone stuck on a room: before you buy, before you build, or for a second opinion on a layout.
How soon can I meet?
Calls from 24 hours out, up to six weeks ahead. Chats from two hours out, up to three weeks ahead.
Can I show my room?
Yes. On a call, walk your designer through it on your phone. In a chat, send photos.
Can someone join me?
Yes. Anyone with you is welcome, and a partner or contractor can join a call from the video link.
What do I need?
A phone, tablet or computer. The video link opens in your browser; a phone is easiest for a room tour.
Can I record it?
Ask your designer first. Recordings are for your own use only.
What if we run out of time?
Sessions end on time. Book another for the rest; designers don't take questions between sessions.
Can I book again?
Yes, as often as you like.
When do I pay?
A payment link follows by email, before your session.
Can I move or cancel?
Move it up to 24 hours before, from your email. Cancel any time for studio credit. A missed chat rebooks for $45.
What if my designer cancels or is late?
You choose a new time or a full refund.
What if I don't like the advice?
It's a designer's opinion, so we can't refund for disagreeing with it. If something went wrong, write to info@studio-dea.com.
Is this the same as hiring a designer?
No. It's advice in the session. Drawings, sourcing and installation are a full design project.
